Many historical mosaic artworks show some broken parts. At the beginning of this piece, different sound colors and textural density reflect the idea of various colors and materials used in a mosaic artwork. All the silence in the first section have been filled up by short attacks in the same location of the second part, referring to the idea of "fixed" broken parts. If the mosaic artwork is flipped, all the different colors and textures are gone. This idea is represented in the last part — the role of alto saxophone and bass clarinet are switched, and the sound is only left with the air color. It also “flipped” the title from "Mosaic" to "Wosaic".
